On behalf of Stadsrum Fastigheter, Annordia is looking for an operator to a new hotel in central Södertälje. The hotel will be a part of a new building to be constructed at Marenplan, beautifully situated overlooking Inre Maren and Södertälje canal. The 16 floor new building is intended to become a new meeting place and a landmark of Södertälje.

According to the proposed concept, produced by Stadsrum Fastigheter alongside FOJAB Architects and Annordia, the hotel will have 187 rooms, a restaurant and bar with an outdoor seated area overlooking the water, conference rooms and a gym. The hotel’s total usable floor area is expected to 8 014 square meters. The new building will also consist of other businesses such as cultural activities, restaurants and cafés.

Marenplan is strategically located by the end of the shopping street Storgatan, and the new building is expected to make a natural connection between the city and the water. Hotel guests can reach Södertälje station within five minutes. The commuter train från Södertälje station to Stockholm C takes 45 minutes.

Södertälje is the third largest labor market in the Stockholm region, with two world leading companies in science and production, AstraZeneca and Scania. Together, the companies employ around 19 000 persons.
