New hotel in Stockholm

Kungsleden has signed a 20-year lease agreement with Nobis for a new hotel at Blästern 14 on Gävlegatan in Stockholm. Annordia advised Kungsleden in the recruitment process.

The new hotel will comprise a total of 9,500 square meters with 242 rooms, conference rooms and generous areas for a lounge, restaurant and bar. The hotel will be accommodated in two adjacent buildings. The main building was built as a storage facility for Philips in 1930, and was designed by the distinguished architect Sigurd Lewerentz.

The hotel will be reached from a courtyard that is opened up to the public and will provide a central meeting place for hotel guests as well as tourists and residents in Vasastaden and the emerging Hagastaden district. Entrances to new stations on the subway yellow line and citybanan will be built within 300 meters of the property. The hotel is expected to be completed in the autumn of 2018.
