Annordia and Nordier were advisors to the Kihlström family in the divestment of Best Western Hotel Royal’s operating company and property to Landia AB.

Best Western Hotel Royal is located on Norra Vallgatan 94 in central Malmö. The hotel offers 50 guest rooms and suites and covers 1,850 square meters. The transaction of the property Skepparen 24 and the operating company Aktiebolaget Sedes was carried out through a share transfer. The closing took place on February 23, 2020.

“The Kihlström family had owned the hotel for 28 years and now wanted to retire. It is always special when someone sells parts of their life’s work, but we are convinced that the hotel is in good hands with the new owner,” says Hans Åke Petersson, CEO & Partner at Annordia.

“This transaction was executed before Corona struck in our country, but I would like to emphasize that demand for well-located hotel properties is still good despite extraordinary trying times for the industry,” according to Fredrik Angelin, Project Manager Transaction at Nordier.
