Annordia were appointed advisors on behalf of Peab for the conceptual development and recruitment of Vi Invest as operator to their new hotel in Ulriksdal, just north of Stockholm. A hotel concept was developed together with Peab and +Rolf architects. Vi Invest ultimately acquired the property from Peab, for this process Annordia were advisors for the selling party Peab.

The hotel was built adjacent to Ulriksdal train station, and comprises of 223 hotel rooms, some fitted with a kitchenette, conference premises, restaurant, spa and a café. The hotel is scheduled to open in 2019.

The hotel will be a central meeting point in city district of Nya Ulriksdal currently under development. By completion 2023 Nya Ulriksdal will accommodate around 1 500 homes and 9 000 workplaces. The global pharmaceutical giants Johnson & Johnson will be one of the first tenants to move in to a building adjacent to the new hotel by the beginning of next year. Within 15 minutes of walking from the hotel national arena “Friends Arena” and Sweden’s biggest shopping mall “Mall of Scandinavia”, where many Swedish and multinational companies’ headquarters are located, can be reached.
