Annordia advised AMF Fastigheter on the letting of a new destination hotel in Marievik, Stockholm, to Strawberry. The operator selection process was preceded by a feasibility study comprising market analysis, concept development and a rental assessment.
The hotel will comprise approximately 11,500 sqm and feature 191 guest rooms, restaurants and bars, including a rooftop restaurant, as well as meeting and event spaces. A rooftop spa with an outdoor pool and terraces is also planned.
The hotel forms part of Marievik’s transformation into a vibrant neighbourhood where homes, workplaces, culture and recreation come together. Designed by acclaimed architect Manuelle Gautrand, the hotel will become a new Stockholm landmark. The destination will help bring life and activity to Marievik around the clock. The opening is planned for summer 2029.
Liljeholmsbadet will extend the hotel’s resort experience and is scheduled to open in summer 2028. The iconic floating bathhouse will also be open to the public.
“We thank AMF Fastigheter for their trust and wish Strawberry every success in developing the hotel. We look forward to a new destination that further enhances Marievik’s appeal,” says Hans Åke Petersson, CEO & Partner at Annordia.
