Annordia advised Varbergs Fastighets AB on the letting of two landmarks in Varberg, Tullhuset and Kallbadhuset. Locally rooted entrepreneur Marina Evertsson has been appointed as operator. Marina Evertsson has previous experience in creating two well-visited destinations, Farmlodge and Sonja’s Veranda in Tvååker.
Kallbadhuset will retain its original function as a place for experiences within the spa tradition, while Tullhuset is planned to house a hotel with 19 rooms and a large restaurant operation. The upcoming development in one of Sweden’s most popular summer resorts will protect the area’s unique cultural environment, invigorate the area and connect the city center more closely to the sea.
– It is a great pleasure to participate in a new destination in Varberg and we thank Varbergs Fastighets AB for the trust. It is gratifying to be able to contribute to the recruitment of Marina Eriksson who, with her local roots, has the right conditions to develop a seaside destination in Varberg’s unique cultural environment, says Hans Åke Petersson, CEO & Partner at Annordia.
The ambition is for the hotel to open in the spring of 2027.
