In an interview by Viggo Cavling, the chief editor of Travel News, our CEO Hans Åke Petersson talked about his early career and founding of Annordia, the rapid growth of hotel rooms in certain markets and why he does not believe we are heading towards a hotel real estate crash in Sweden.

Travel News calls Hans Åke Petersson “the holy spirit of hotels” and considers him to be one of the forces behind the large expansion of the Swedish hotel market during the last thirty years. Even though Annordia has been involved in a lot of hotel projects over the years, Hans Åke insists that the market expansion is not caused by us at Annordia, but rather by increased demand for commercial accommodation making it profitable to invest in hotel real estate.
