During the summer, we have seen a rebound in the demand for hotel rooms mainly from domestic private travelers – a consequence of the fact that many have been vaccinated, low infection rates, and thus eased restrictions.

But how will the demand for hotel rooms from business travelers develop, after the pandemic?
Will companies to a large extent continue to replace physical meetings with digital meetings?

Our assessment is that business travel with overnight stays relatively quickly returns to levels from before the pandemic. The main reason for this assessment is that business travels over the day are most likely the ones that will be replaced by digital meetings.
