Annordia is proud to have produced a hotel report on the supply and demand on the hotel market in the Gothenburg region, on behalf of Göteborg & Co and Business Region Gothenburg.

As well as describing the region’s existing hotel supply and presenting planned new hotels, the report analyses historical demand and looks ahead on presumable future demand.

During the past year, the hotel market has been severely affected by the Covid-19-pandemic. There is great uncertainty regarding the short and long term effects on future demand in the Gothenburg region. The recovery of the hotel market depends on vaccination, restrictions, and growth in the economy. The development of business travel is most uncertain, as digital meetings might continue to a great extent, even after the pandemic. However, leisure travel is expected to continue to grow.
