New hotel in Gasklocka 1, Stockholm

We are searching for an operator to lease a new hotel that will be accommodated in a former gasometer built in 1893 in Stockholm, Sweden. It will be the centerpiece of Gasverket, a former gasworks area characterized by the famous Swedish architect Ferdinand Boberg’s beautiful brick buildings. The area has not been accessible to the public for over a century and will now be transformed by CA Fastigheter into an open urban district with a mix of residential buildings, offices and retail.

The proposed hotel has 160 rooms, two restaurants and bars, a gym and conference facilities. By adding an extra floor, it is possible to increase the capacity to 184 rooms. The hotel’s final configuration will however be determined together with the lessee.
