We are searching for an operator to lease a new hotel that is planned to be built in the best possible location in central Uppsala. The hotel will be the centerpiece of a new block that Alma Property Partners is developing together with Mässing Properties, located next to Uppsala Konsert & Kongress and the central station.

The vision has been to create something that does not exist in Uppsala today. A vibrant city district where the boundaries between the activities are blurred and synergies can arise. A new meeting place and an extra living room for residents in Uppsala. In addition to the hotel, the block will include a mix of offices, co-working space and restaurants.

The proposed concept comprises 234 guest rooms spread over seven floors as well as generous conference facilities. One of the hotel’s most impressive features is the entrance floor with its nearly 2,000 square meters of open restaurant and lounge area. A place that invites the public to meet and socialize in a spectacular environment. The top floor offers a spa and a restaurant/bar with contiguous terraces totalling 800 square meters. The top floor offers a fantastic view of sights such as Uppsala Cathedral, Uppsala Castle and Carolina Rediviva.

This is a unique opportunity for a hotel operator to be involved early in the process and develop the concept together with the property owners. The premises for the hotel amounts to approximately 12,500 square meters, while the total area for the block amounts to approximately 30,000 square meters. The hotel is expected to open in 2024.
