Annordia is searching for an operator to lease a new destination hotel that Hemsö plans to build in central Trelleborg, by the port. The hotel will be accommodated in a new 16-storey building which, with its high architectural design and panoramic views, is expected to become Trelleborg’s new landmark. An existing building from 1850, Thelinska magasinet, will be connected to the new building and included in the hotel lease.
The concept proposal suggests 132 guest rooms, 10 meeting rooms, bar and restaurant, café, sky bar on the 14th floor and spa with an outdoor pool, jacuzzi and sauna. The total gross floor area amounts to 6,974 square meters.
The hotel’s catchment zone includes the whole South Coast, the Öresund
region and Northern Germany thanks to exceptional transport links by car, ferry and train. 1,8 million passengers travel through Port of Trelleborg every year, a figure that is expected to increase to 2,5 million by 2026.
Trelleborg is going through an exciting redevelopment. The port will be moved just east of the city center and new city districts will be developed. A large logistics center is being built where new business establishments will take place.
