On behalf of Atrium Ljungberg, Annordia is looking for an operator to Hotel Tapetfabriken which is to be built in Sickla, Nacka.

The hotel will be built in the historic Kåberg wallpaper factory at Marcusplatsen in Sickla. Atrium Ljungberg, White Architects and Annordia have jointly developed a proposed concept which includes 152 rooms, a gym, a ground floor restaurant, a flexible open space with an accompanying bar, three conference rooms and large public spaces which have the potential to encourage spontaneous meetings.

The ground floor also consists of three smaller boxes where guests can for example check-in, visit the barber or get a massage. The hotel is proposed to cover a total usable area of approximately 6,300 square meters. However, there is opportunity to expand the hotel area up to about 10,000 square meters.

The hotel is located within 300 meters of the commuter train and light-rail stations as well as a dozen bus routes. The same will apply for the new metro line that will extend to Sickla and be inaugurated in 2025. Sickla is under major development and by 2030 the area is planned to expand by approximately 14,000 new homes and about 10,000 new jobs.
