On behalf of Skellefteå municipality, Annordia is looking for an operator for a hotel to be built adjacent to a new cultural center in central Skellefteå. The hotel and cultural center will be a landmark in Skellefteå and is located next to the city’s new travel center.

The hotel will include 207 guest rooms, a café, a gym, a restaurant and bar with more than 150 seats and meeting facilities of approximately 500 square meters. According to the proposal, the hotel has a total area of ​​9,777 square meters.

In addition to hotels, Kulturhuset will also include the Västerbotten Theater, Skellefteå Art Hall, the City Library and the Museum Anna Nordlander. In addition, the building will accommodate a guest scene with rooms for up to 1,500 spectators, two medium-sized premises as well as large exhibition spaces available to the hotel’s operator.

White Architects have designed the cultural house which will be the tallest wood building in the Nordic region when it opens in 2020.
