At Six and Hobo

AMF Fastigheter were faced with a unique opportunity when Swedbank announced that they were going to relocate from the AMF premises at Brunkebergstorg in Stockholm. About 50,000 square meters of prime real estate would be released at one of Stockholm’s best locations.

In February of 2012, Annordia delivered a feasibility report including a developed concept and rent assessment. Using the study AMF chose to go ahead with a hotel investment. AMF envisioned the development of an entire block whereof the hotel project would cover two of the five properties. All the businesses operating in the block would interact in a unified environment and under a common umbrella; Urban Escape. Together with AMF Fastigheter, architects, planners and technical consultants we examined how the space would be allocated between a hotel, offices and retail, how synergies could best be achieved and how the large flow of people would be directed.

In the autumn of 2013 Annordia sent out an open call for tenders to 125 operators in Europe, Asia and the United States. During the offer period, we carried out many tours of the property, conducted personal interviews with the vast majority of operators and continuously assisted them with information about the project and market.
