Annordia has conducted a hotel report covering hotel supply and demand in the Gothenburg region, on behalf of Göteborg & Co and Business Region Gothenburg.

As well as describing the region’s existing hotel supply and presenting the pipeline for planned new hotel projects, the report analyses historical demand and looks ahead at presumable future demand, with the Covid-19-pandemic in mind.

The report analyses the short- and long-term effects from the pandemic on future demand for hotel services in the Gothenburg region. There is great uncertainty regarding the recovery from the depressed demand during the pandemic, especially concerning business travel. However, leisure travel is expected to recover faster and continue to grow.
