We were appointed strategic advisor to property owner Sparbössan and operator Per Lydmar during the process of finding a new owner to Lydmar Hotel. We were responsible for the transaction process, found suitable owners to the venture and participated in negotiations and ultimately signings.
Neighboring Grand Hôtel, owned by Investor AB, won the negotiations and became owners to 80 percent of the venture Lydmar Hotel. Grand Hôtel were a natural choice as co-owners of Lydmar Hotel, as both hotels located at Blaiseholmen serve the same guest segment and thus can take advantage of synergies.
The process was completed in spring 2013 and Grand Hôtel acquired the venture 1st of July 2013.
