Annordia led the operator search and selection process for a new hotel developed by Geely and GIC Management AB at the Uni3 by Geely campus in Lindholmen, Gothenburg. Following strong interest from several hotel operators, Strawberry was ultimately selected as the operator.
Prior to the operator search, Annordia conducted a feasibility study for the hotel in 2019. The study included an analysis of the market conditions for a new hotel on the site, an assessment of potential customer segments, the development of a suitable hotel concept, and a rental assessment.
The hotel opened in October 2022. Operated by Strawberry under the Clarion Hotel The Pier brand, it offers 254 guest rooms, two restaurants, three bars, conference facilities and a wellness area.
